On December 10, TCab Tech successfully held the first meeting of the Type Certificate Team (TCT) for the E20 eVTOL. Additionally, TCab Tech recently launched the Aircraft Evaluation Group (AEG) review meeting, successfully initiating the operational compliance evaluation. The airworthiness certification process for the E20 is now progressing.

E20 TCT Meeting

The first TCT meeting for the E20 was successfully held with a review panel of experts from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) and other aviation institutions. During the meeting, TCab Tech presented the E20 design, concept of operations, and certification basis, means of compliance. This initial review marked a crucial step in the certification process.

The experts acknowledged the significant progress made in the development of the E20 and emphasized the importance of maintaining technical precision, establishing a comprehensive safety management system, and ensuring the smooth progression of the project. Their feedback reinforced that the E20 is on track to meet the required safety and operational standards for certification.

With the TCT meeting now concluded, TCab Tech is well-positioned to collaborate with the review panel and advance the certification process.

Aircraft Evaluation Group Review Meeting

At the recent AEG review meeting, TCab Tech provided a detailed update to the experts from the Flight Standard Department of Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), Aircraft Evaluation Center of China Academy of Civil Aviation Science and Technology, and the East China Regional Administration of CAAC. The presentation focused on the E20 eVTOL operational compliance, and discussions also covered key topics such as pilot training and maintenance for the E20 eVTOL.

Through in-depth communication and discussion, TCab Tech has solidified its approach to pilot training and maintenance for the E20, laying the groundwork for safe operations with manned eVTOLs. This preparation is vital to ensuring the safety, operational compliance, and economic viability of the aircraft.

As the innovative company to develop tilt-rotor eVTOL, TCab Tech aims to provide safe and efficient air travel solutions. The E20 features advanced tilt-rotor technology, a reusable propulsion system, and can carry up to five passengers at speeds of up to 320 km/h, offering high operational efficiency and significant commercial potential. With civil aviation-grade safety, a spacious cabin, outstanding flight performance, and industry-leading airworthiness standards, the E20 is positioned at the forefront of both domestic and international markets.
