TCab Tech raises several hundred million Yuan in Series B financing, with investments from HongTai Aplus, AnTai Fund, and GuoTou Group. As part of the strategic development, TCab Tech will establish a manufacturing plant in Wanzhi District, Wuhu City, Anhui Province. The local government has committed to provide comprehensive support, including financial facilitation and air mobility applications to accelerate the commercialization of the E20 eVTOL.
"TCab Tech is a pioneering company in the development of manned electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. The company's self-developed E20 eVTOL features a tilt-rotor configuration that offers significant commercial value," said the main representative from HongTai Aplus. "The tilt-rotor design of the E20 eVTOL not only enhances safety but also enables the reuse of electrical power system in VTOL and cruising modes, balancing economic efficiency with R&D productivity. This innovation significantly improves the speed, energy efficiency, and safety of air taxis, making a green and sustainable digital transportation ecosystem possible."
Currently, TCab Tech aims on eVTOL markets in China, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. The company has secured hundreds of intentional orders from prominent general aviation operators in China, established a complete industrial chain in the Yangtze River Delta region, and opened branches in Malaysia and Singapore to support its international expansion.
“TCab Tech has successfully submitted the Type Certificate (TC) application for its E20 eVTOL to the Civil Aviation Administration of China(CAAC), advancing the certification process,” said representatives from Antai Fund. “The team has extensive experience in the aviation industry and a global perspective. Founder and CEO Yon Wui NG brings over 20 years of international experience in aircraft R&D, including 10 years of work at Airbus, where he served as Head of Engineering for Airbus China, overseeing the development of the A350 control surfaces and high-lift devices. More than 85% of the company's team comprises R&D professionals from diverse fields, including aviation, new energy, and control algorithms. We are confident in TCab Tech's technology and commercialization prospects, anticipating rapid development that will position the E20 eVTOL as a key player in the future of urban air mobility."
